Leo 是一个六岁的好奇男孩，他有着明亮的黑色眼睛，热爱冒险 。今天，他和他的魏爷爷正在一座高耸入云的巨大山脉附近徒步 。“看，爷爷！” Leo 指着大喊道。“那朵大云想到山的另一边去玩！”
一朵又大又蓬松的云，看起来像一大勺香草冰淇淋，正朝着大山飘去 。它鼓着气，使着劲，试图爬上那又高又陡的岩石山坡 。“加油，云朵，加油！” Leo 一边跳着，一边为它加油 。
“它非常努力，”魏爷爷微笑着说。“但那朵云背着一个很重的背包。里面装满了非常非常小的水滴，就像一块巨大的、漂浮在空中的海绵。”
“这座山就像一个巨大的斜坡，”魏爷爷继续说 。“它会把云推得越来越高，一直推到天空中非常寒冷的地方。Brrr（好冷）！” 他抱着胳膊打了个哆嗦，把 Leo 逗得咯咯直笑 。
“寒冷的空气会给云朵一个又大又紧的挤压，”魏爷爷解释道，同时轻轻地捏了捏 Leo 的肩膀 。“你猜，当你挤压一块湿海绵时会发生什么？”
“它会滴水！” Leo 喊道。就在那时，一滴小水珠落在了他的鼻子上。滴答（Plink）。接着，另一滴落在了他的脸颊上。嗒（Plonk）。这朵云开始下雨了！
“完全正确！”魏爷爷轻笑着说。“云朵正在给口渴的大山一大口水喝。所有美丽的绿树和五彩缤纷的花朵都需要这些水才能茁壮成长。”
Leo 看着云不停地下着雨 。每落下一滴雨，它就变得小一点，薄一点 。它那沉甸甸的水背包正在变空 。
很快，雨停了。现在，那朵云只剩下轻飘飘、薄薄的一缕 。它又试了一次，想飘过山顶，但它太累了，也太小了 。它只是沿着山腰飘走了 。
“它把所有的水都送出去了，” Leo 轻声说。他不再为那朵云感到难过了 。“大山喝到了水，现在它很开心。”魏爷爷笑了 。“说得对，我的小冒险家。这朵云今天完成了一项非常重要的工作。”
